Fish in the canal included: bullheads, chubs, bluegill, rockbass and catfish.

Feeder

A channel to bring water into the canal. The Little Cuyahoga Feeder entered the Canal just north of lock 15 making the towpath a little narrower there.

Excursion Boat

Often a converted freight boat with the cargo hold decked over. These became more prevalent in the waning days of the canal when less freight was hauled.
